Let's meet up in the 2nd floor kids play room and then eat lunch together at 11:45 (bring your own lunch). Come connect with other families, created or expanded through adoption. Adoptive and foster families of all kinds are invited to join in the fun and make new friends! Does your family involve foster parenting or domestic, international, open, closed, transracial, transcultural, same background, infant, older child, special needs adoption or a blend of adoptive and biological children? Ithaca Adoptive Families Picnic
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; Gaia the giant turtle, in the Ithaca Children's Garden
Come connect with other families, created or expanded through adoption. Adoptive and foster families of all kinds are invited to join in the fun and make new friends! Does your family involve foster parenting or domestic, international, open, closed, transracial, transcultural, same background, infant, older child, special needs adoption or a blend of adoptive and biological children? We love you all! All ages and all family members are welcome for this informal picnic!
We will meet at Gaia, the giant turtle in the Ithaca Children’s Garden. Bring a blanket, picnic lunch for your family, and any outdoor play toys or games you would like to share We will have bubbles, hoola-hoops, frisbees and more. If raining, we will meet inside at the Cayuga Nature Center.
